Reality Show PR: Marketing with Case Studies

Take your prospects behind the scenes with client case studies: all ready and made for marketing

by Barbara Rozgonyi, founder of CoryWest Media and Public Relations Expert When clients want to know what you do, invite them into a behind-the-scenes reality show. Giving them a play-by-play of how your business impacts lives gives them a better appreciation of how to work with you. Talking about how you make your client’s lives or businesses better is much easier when you can use a case study. And, having a format makes it even easier.

Here’s how to make your product or service come alive using the S-A-R method.  Read “Reality Show PR: Marketing with Case Studies” at the CoryWest Media site.

What I found particularly helpful about this article was the idea of highlighting what your company does best or what it puts a lot of painstaking effort into.

I can see some companies showing how they are rigorous about quality control, others about their research and development systems, and others about their customer service efforts.

Case studies are also excellent tools to show how you helped customers. Turn any positive feedback into a customer success story and you have a case study that can be put on your web site, sent out as PR material or used as a print ad. I’ve written a lot more about marketing with case studies in my free ebook, The Plot Thickens: Why Case Studies Create New Customers.

I hope you find it useful.
